•  JV starts at 4:30 p.m.
•  Survivor Ceremony to follow. Survivor Hospitality Room will be open at 4:30pm
• Varsity game to follow at approx. 5:45pm

Survivors should show up at 5:00pm in case the JV games finishes early!

"Volleyball for Awareness” PINK Ceremony prior to Varsity game

Each year, Morgan City High dedicates one home volleyball match to promote breast cancer education, awareness and fundraising.  You are invited to our 15th annual Paint the Pit Pink Match on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022. Our goal is for all proceeds from donations, pink t-shirt sales, and Paint the Pit Pink game admissions to directly benefit our St. Mary Parish residents.

Funds donated by our community members will directly support our local cancer patients. Proceeds will be donated to the Roots & Ribbons Foundation, LLC.  This local non-profit organization offers various services to our local breast cancer patients.  Funds assist eligible St. Mary Parish patients with life-saving procedures such as early detection screening, imaging, biopsy, treatment, and reconstructive surgery. We also provide assistance with travel-related costs, prosthetics, wigs, nutritional support, as well as other challenges that may come with a breast cancer diagnosis.

There are two ways you can contribute:

⦁ Encourage your friends, family, and employees to attend the designated “Volleyball for Awareness” game on Tuesday, October 25th at MCHS and buy "PINK" T-Shirts.

⦁ Become a sponsor.  Many levels of sponsorship are available.  Please see the attached Sponsorship Levels form to find which level suits your contribution to the fight against breast cancer.  Deadline for sponsorship is Friday, October 14, 2022.

Anyone who wears this year's "Pink" T-Shirt to our game gets in FREE!

All proceeds will be donated to Roots & Ribbons Foundation.

Last year, we sold over 300 t-shirts and collected over $3,000 thanks to community support. Over the past 9 years, we have raised over $135,000.00.
